Gaddy tickets & upcoming events

Looking to catch some really inspiring performances or maybe even get a behind-the-scenes peek? The Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre at Raleigh Little Theatre is kind of a hidden gem that’s been nurturing local talent since 2012. It’s not just about putting on shows; they run this pretty cool youth mentorship program that pairs young aspiring actors with seasoned professionals. Think of it like a training ground where the next big star is probably learning their craft right now. In 2015, they kicked off the 'Inclusive Theatre' initiative, which is all about making theatre accessible to everyone, especially marginalized groups. No tickets needed for some events, which is awesome because it’s open to folks who might not usually get the chance. And if you’re into quirky events, the couples improvisation night from Valentine’s Day 2019 turned into a recurring hit, I mean, who doesn’t love a little improv romance? Plus, the venue has hosted big gatherings like the Southeast High School Theatre Gathering back in 2011, showcasing talent from fifteen states. Oh, and on colder days, the box seats sometimes come with heaters, cozy! The gallery seats offer a great view if you’re curious about how the theatre is set up, even if they’re not always the first to be filled. Whether you’re a theatre buff or just looking for a fun night out, this space is full of character, and honestly, it’s worth checking out to see what’s happening next.
